I love ranch dressing. I mean, freaking l-o-v-e ranch dressing. When I start a diet (avoid these 4 diet mistakes) it is really hard for me to give that up. I am not sure why I have such a love affair with this sauce. It is like a bad boyfriend, I know how bad it is for me, but I can’t let it go, and it makes me want it more, on almost everything!
I came up with a ranch recipe that is really close to the real thing and it’s really creamy.
- 1/2 – 3/4 packet of ranch seasoning packet (depending on how rich you want your ranch.) I have tested some generic packets but Hidden Valley really is the best.
- 1/2 cup low fat mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup skim milk
- 2 tbsp low fat sour cream
Mix all together and refrigerate for minimum of 30 minutes.
It should be pretty creamy but you can add more milk to desired consistency.
1 tbsp = 31 calories and 2 grams of fat. 1 WW points.
